Privacy Policy

Data storage

• Homes, rooms, tasks, sessions, documents, expenses, inventory, and timeline records stay on your device by default.
• Baseboards does not upload your home data to developer-operated servers.
• If a Pro user turns on personal iCloud sync, the synced store lives in that user's personal iCloud account.

iCloud sync and shared homes

• Whole-home sharing uses Apple's CloudKit sharing system after a home owner prepares a home and sends an invite.
• Imported shared homes appear only for collaborators who accept a CloudKit invitation using their Apple account.
• Shared-home access and refresh timing are controlled through Apple's CloudKit systems.

Analytics and tracking

• No third-party analytics tools are embedded in the app.
• No advertising identifiers are used for ad targeting.
• No developer-run tracking is used for your home records.

App Store purchases

• Purchases are handled by Apple through the App Store.
• Baseboards checks StoreKit purchase and restore status to unlock Pro features.
• Baseboards does not receive or store payment card information.

Support communications

• If you contact support, we receive the information you include in your message so we can respond to you.
• We use support communications only to help with your request, troubleshoot an issue, or follow up about the conversation you started.

Your choices

• You can remove local data from a device by deleting the app and its on-device store.
• You control personal iCloud sync data and CloudKit-shared records through your Apple account and iCloud settings.
• Baseboards does not require a separate user account or maintain a separate cloud profile for you.
